A Wise Man Car Park

A man goes into a City Bank to ask for a loan.

He tells the loan officer that he’s going on vacation and needs to borrow 5,000.

The banker ask: “Well, do you have anything you can use as collateral?”

The man replies: “Yes, I do.” “I will use my Lamborghini.”

Banker said: “You mean you want to put up that much money to borrow 5,000?”

The man says, “Yes, please.”

The banker can’t believe it so he pulls the mans credit and checks his references to make sure this is legitimate.

Sure enough, everything checks out, and so the banker give the man 5,000 and parks his Lamborghini in the banks parking garage.

Two weeks later the man returns from his vacation and puts a bag with 5,000 on the bankers desk.

The man says: “I’m back, and would like to pick up my car.”

The banker counts the money in the bag, and tells the man that there’s an interest charge of 15.41 for the loan.

The man gives him the payment, and the banker hands the car key to the man.

The banker said: “It was good to do business with you.”

But banker ask the man: “I do have a question? I am a bit puzzled. You’re a very wealthy man — so why would you need to borrow 5,000 to go on a vacation?”

The man replies, “Where else in this City, I could park my car for two weeks at a price as little as 15.41 and expect it to be as in good condition when I returned?”

The Lesson…

Anyone can do things the conventional way, but there are solutions to any problem if you will only adjust our perspective from problem to opportunity to find or create a solution.

We’ve been brought up to do things the way most people would do.

We’re wasting so much of our imaginations and creativity because we believe that we have to do everything the way everyone else does it.

Start to think outside the box, use the power of curiosity, vision, wonder, and imagination — we may be surprised at what life has to offer outside of the ordinary.
