Did you participate the rendering survey recently? if so check out the annual poll of renderers used in production by the archviz industry, and perhaps provide an insight at where to expect they might head in the future.
This year’s survey was compiled from over 8000 responses from professionals. As expected V-Ray remains the most popular engine currently used in production, with Corona continuing to nip at its heels. Perhaps more surprising is Lumion ascending the ranks to come in fourth place ahead of Unreal, although the latter was the leader in the question that asked what rendering engine users were currently testing.
